SUMMER SCHEDULE Now in effect
With summer comes the summer break for schools and students. Our shipping schedule has been revised accordingly.
Shipping days are limited to once or twice a week, depending on order volume. This means it may take an extra day or two for us to fill your order and for you to receive it. Please plan accordingly. Thank you, and have a happy summer!
Payment Terms
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, and checks/money orders (see below). We ask that you place your order through our Secure Shopping Cart, but if you prefer, you may call or write us with your order.
When paying by credit card, the card must be in your name, and you must provide the billing address for the credit card. Orders over a certain dollar amount are verified by phone or e-mail before they are fulfilled. If we cannot verify the order, it will not be shipped!
Your card is not charged until we ship. The charge will be under the name Gordon McComb's Automation Masters (or Gordon McCombs Automat on some credit card statements).
Payment by check for U.S. orders: Payment by check is accepted. If you are in a hurry, send us a cashier's check or money order, as personal checks may delay the order by 7-10 days. Do not send cash!
Payment by check for international orders: Please provide a bank or cashier's check. Personal checks are not accepted. The check must be in U.S. dollars, payable through a U.S. bank. Your check will be returned otherwise, causing delay.

PayPal Orders
If ordering by PayPal your account must be Verified. We cannot accept orders from unverified PayPal acocunts. All orders must ship to a Confirmed shipping address only. Please refer to your PayPal accounts page on how to verify your account and confirm your shipping address.
Minimum Order We have a $10 minimum for all credit card and PayPal orders. There is no minimum for orders paid by check or money order.
Purchase Orders We are sorry, but we do not accept purchase orders. See Purchase Orders for additional information.
Working E-mail Address
For orders through the Internet we require a working e-mail address from you for order confirmation and verification. If your e-mail bounces, or if we require verification and you do not respond, your order will be deleted from our system within five (5) business days.
We reserve the right to verify all orders from "free" e-mail providers, including Yahoo.com, Google Mail, and Hotmail.com. For such e-mail accounts, if paying by credit card, we may require you to fax your order, and include your signature and the front of your credit card. This is for your protection, as well as ours.
We do not send unsolicited e-mail, and we NEVER sell or rent the names and addresses of our customers. Please see our Privacy Policy for more information.
Order/Shipping Confirmations
Our shopping cart automatically sends a confirmation of your order. At this time, we do not routinely provide shipping confirmation, unless your order will be delayed. If you require a tracking number please write us and ask.
Shipping Charges and Terms
Our shopping cart calculates the shipping costs based on your Zip/postal code, and the estimated weight of your package, rounded up to the nearest pound. If your actual shipping charges are significantly lower than the estimate you will be refunded the difference.
We normally ship within three (3) business days of receipt of your order. However, certain circumstances may delay your order:
- You paid by personal check. We wait 7-10 days for your check to clear before shipping.
- It's a holiday. We like to take time-off, too.
- Your order information is incomplete, or cannot be verified.
- We're out-of-stock. If your order will be delayed by more than five business days, we will let you know when we expect to ship your order. You have the option of canceling the order if you wish. If only some of the items are out-of-stock, we will ship what we have, and backorder the remainder.
Insurance
All orders are shipped insured, and with delivery confirmation. These costs are included in your shipping amount.
Worldwide Shipping
We ship worldwide. However, we verify all orders shipping outside the United States. Please provide a valid e-mail address so that we may contact you. We NEVER sell or rent e-mail addresses, as noted in our Privacy Policy. If we cannot reach you by e-mail, your order will be deleted from our system.
For orders shipping outside the United States, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DUTIES, CUSTOMS FEES, BROKERAGE FEES, OR OTHER COSTS. Orders are shipped via UPS or US Postal Service, whichever provides the safest route. WE CANNOT SHIP TO YOU IF YOUR ORDER CANNOT BE INSURED OR TRACKED.
Our shopping cart calculates non-US shipping charges if you select the appropriate "global" shipping method. If actual shipping costs are substantially higher than that stated, we will hold your order and ask you to confirm the new amount. If the costs are substantially lower, we will deduct the overage from your invoice.
Please note: Not all of our products are available outside the United States. Such products are noted in the shopping cart.
Our Guarantee
We offer a 30 day money-back guarantee. As you might guess, refunds are limited to the purchase price only; you are responsible for all shipping and handling costs.
Before returning goods, we ask that you first obtain a Return Authorization Request (RAR), at the address below. This will expedite your refund.
