Q. Do you have a printed catalog?
A.
We do not. Our Web site is our catalog.

Q. Do you ship outside the United States?
A. Yes. Please refer to the Shipping Info page for our policy on shipping to other countries.

Q. Do you provide discounts to schools?
A. The majority of our customers are students or educators, and our already-discounted prices reflect this. We do offer quantity discounts on kits and other selected items. These discounts are available to everyone.

Q. What are your discounts for buying in quantity?
A. Our standard discount for kits is 5% for 10 or more of the same kit (any color). This discount applies to prepaid orders only. We recommend that before ordering in quantity that you purchase a sample product to determine suitability.

Q. Do you accept purchase orders?
A. Sorry, but no. Please see the Purchase Orders for more information.

Q. I wanted to buy something but you no longer carry it. Can I still get it?
A. Some of our products are sold as surplus, and we have a limited supply of them. We also occasionally "retire" a robotics kit, and once removed from our catalog, it is no longer offered.

Q. Do you take orders over the phone?
A. Yes, but we prefer that you use our online shopping cart, as it provides an exact written record of your order. It's secure, and your credit card is not charged until we ship.

Q. Why do you need my phone number and e-mail address?
A. We need this information to reach you in case of a problem with your order. When providing your e-mail address and other personal information, please double-check it to make sure it's corrent.

Q. I don't like spam. Will you rent or sell my name or e-mail address?
A. Absolutely NEVER. Refer to our Privacy Policy for more information.

Q. Will you ever send me spam?
A. We do not currently e-mail our customers unless it is directly related to an order. In the future, we may send a free monthly newsletter by e-mail. This will be by opt-in only. We will ask you once by e-mail if you wish to receive the newsletter. If you say no, or do not respond, you will not receive it.

Q. Do you send order and shipping confirmations by e-mail?
A. Our shopping cart automatically sends an order confirmation to your e-mail address. At this time, we do not routinely send shipping confirmations. If you need a shipping confirmation or tracking number, please contact us by e-mail.

Q. Are you THE Gordon McComb?
A.Actually, "Gordon McComb" is not an uncommon name. I'm only THE Gordon McComb if you are referring to the author of Robot Builder's Bonanza and other robotics books. I am not any other Gordon McComb, that I know of.
