Finally! A turret that turns the sensor a full 360 degrees!
Introducing our new -- and of course super-affordable - 360° turret designed for the popular Sharp GP2 family of infrared sensors, and the Parallax Ping and Devantech SRF0x ultrasonic ranging sensors (not included). Now you can use a single ultrasonic or infrared sensor to see all around your robot, front, sides, and back!

Optional alternate sensor mounting boards allow you to to combine an infrared and ulrasound sensor on one unit (as shown), or use the new Sharp multi-beam ranging sensors. We also provide a "blank" sensor mounting board in either of two sizes if you want to attach your own custom sensor to the turret. The small mounting board measures approx. 1" x 2"; the large mounting board 2" x 2"). The ABS plastic is easy to drill.
The turret can be mounted to most any robot or base. We offer (sold separately; see the Options list below) a set of four standoffs for attaching the servo to most any robot base, and a Dual Lock strip if you want a less permanent installation.

Please note: The infrared/ultrasonic sensors are NOT included. These are available from a variety of sources, and generally cost from $10 to $25 each, depending on type. The sensor mounting boards provide a mounting solution for the sensor(s) of your choice.
